New England Security Day 2024

After a hiatus the New England Security Day (NESD) made a come back. This event is designed to bring together security researchers throughout New England (and adjacent areas). This all-day event brought together security researchers. Hosted by the Connecticut Advanced Computing Center and organized by School of Computing Associate Professor Benjamin Fuller, seminars included machine learning security, network security, applied cryptography, and system security. Attendees also learned the latest in hashtag#cybersecurity via poster sessions and presentations. |
CyberSEED 2024

We had another great CyberSEED event this past Saturday March 23, 2024 with 96 teams with 226 students. We had some intense competition with the top team being the only one to solve all of the challenges. The briefing presentations ended up being a pretty deciding factor in the placement of the top teams and is such a valuable component of the experience for the students |
